Pusa Bhindi-5 is a high-yielding, YVMV-resistant okra variety (18.0 t/ha) released by ICAR-IARI in 2016 for Kharif and spring-summer seasons. It produces medium-length (10-12 cm), dark green, 5-ridged pods, offering excellent tender quality. This variety is highly resistant to Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus.
