Syngenta Actara is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide containing Thiamethoxam 25% WG (Water Dispersible Granules). It works through both contact and stomach action and quickly penetrates the leaf surface. It moves systemically through the plant via translaminar and acropetal movement. This ensures effective control of hidden and hard-to-reach sucking and chewing pests such as aphids and jassids and whiteflies and thrips and leafhoppers and brown plant hoppers and stem borers and leaf folders and mango hoppers. Its unique trans-stemic action creates a reservoir within the leaf tissue and provides long residual control of up to 21 days after application. It provides quick knockdown action and eliminates target pests within 24 hours of application. It offers long-lasting residual control of up to 21 days due to its trans-stemic movement within the plant. It is effective against a wide range of sucking pests including aphids and jassids and whiteflies and thrips and leafhoppers. It is compatible with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs. It works at very low dosage rates and is cost-effective for farmers. It controls both soil-dwelling and leaf-dwelling pests through systemic action.
